Halloween Parade

Happy 2008 HALLOWEEN!!!
This year was a great Halloween Parade and party for Mrs. Olsen's class. Everyone had such a fun costume and it was great walking around to other classes and to our parents. Then we had a GREAT party in our room! It was a day to remember!!

Trick-Or-Treat

Tonight the class had a great time Trick-or-Treating at Mrs. Olsen's house. Everyone dressed up in their costumes and dropped by for a a special treat for Halloween this year! Thank you Mrs Olsen for making 3rd grade such a fun!!

More Events

October 30: Trick-Or-Treat at Mrs. Olsen's House-Doors open at 6:30 and close at 8:30pm. Come in costume.
October 31: Halloween Party at school!
Daniela Dryden is the Star Student of the week: She does everything well. Her work is alway 100%. She is a beautiful ice skater.

Red Butte


Our favorite things about our first Field Trip to Red Butte Gardens:

Addison Kaelin said: When I saw a lizard and a praying mantis and some quail.
Carlie said: I liked being with friends. I loved the lake and I never say scat like cougar scat. The tracks are very interesting.
Joseph B. said: I liked the field trip because there were a lot of plants and that you got to touch the plants. They also smelled so good!
Brock Smiley said: I liked the birds and the river and the bumble bees and the humming birds.
Kathy Ngo said: I liked the river and the garden.
Lauren W. said: I loved the wild animals and the trees there were awesome!
James Christiansen said: I like the trees and I liked the creek and I liked the rocks and the sound of the creek. And I liked the sound of the birds.

Super Fridays!




We have had some SUPER Friday! Our first Super Friday, we had a lot of fun playing with water with the Nutting family! The second Friday we played a lot of outside games and even learned some sign language with Sarah's Mom and Dad. Yesterday, we played Capture the Flag with Mathews family. We will have more pictures to show off our fun times!

First Day of School


The 2008-2009 school year started bright and early on August 25. Mrs. Olsen was there to welcome a very excited and cute bunch of 3rd graders to their new classroom. Ladybugs were every where and the students were excited to get started! Welcome back!
