Dr. Seuss Party!

Today was the Dr. Seuss Party! All of the kids dressed up in their PJ's and went for an early morning breakfast at the school and all the Dr. Seuss books one could read!Here is our great Principal "The Cat in the Hat" and his two helpers..."Thing One and Thing Two". All of the kids that went had a great time! Thanks to all who made this such a fun morning!!

Valentine's Day Party

The class had such a fun party this year! Everyone decorated a bucket for all of their Valentine's. The kids used all of their creativity and made some very nice designs (as you can see)!After everyone passed out their cards and treats, all of the kids played a game where they walked around on hearts on the floor with music playing. When the music stopped, if they were on a heart that was drawn from a bag, you got a cake! YUMMY!! Thank you to all of the parents that helped! It was a fun day!

Ice Skating Trip

What a wonderful field trip ice skating. I had a blast. I only fell once!!! Of course the kids held my hand the whole time. What troupers!! We all want to give a “great big thank you” to the McShurleys and the Drydens for lunch. They took such good care of us. Your child may be a bit sore tomorrow since they “kissed” the ice a few times. The reservationists said that the kids would never last 3 hours. I am here to say that they skated the entire time!!! We are not wimps!!!! Just thought I’d update the field trip. Thanks!

Planetarium

The kids had a great time at the Planetarium! Everyone enjoyed looking around and learning more about space. It was fun eating lunch at the Planetarium as well! Everyone really loved the movie! It was a super day! This class really gets to do some fun activities!!!

Halloween Parade

Happy 2008 HALLOWEEN!!!

This year was a great Halloween Parade and party for Mrs. Olsen's class. Everyone had such a fun costume and it was great walking around to other classes and to our parents. Then we had a GREAT party in our room! It was a day to remember!!

Trick-Or-Treat

Tonight the class had a great time Trick-or-Treating at Mrs. Olsen's house. Everyone dressed up in their costumes and dropped by for a a special treat for Halloween this year! Thank you Mrs Olsen for making 3rd grade such a fun!!

More Events

October 30: Trick-Or-Treat at Mrs. Olsen's House-Doors open at 6:30 and close at 8:30pm. Come in costume.
October 31: Halloween Party at school!
Daniela Dryden is the Star Student of the week: She does everything well. Her work is alway 100%. She is a beautiful ice skater.
